| Andrew Hemsley has
nearly 30 years' experience in the construction
industry, specialising in new developments
and refurbishment for many private and public
sector clients. Andrew has managed teams on
education, residential, offices, industrial,
warehouse and leisure projects. Over the last
few years he has specialised in consultancy
work and continues to be involved on projects
requiring specialist expertise. As
Managing Director of Cyril Sweett Consulting,
his specialist team focuses on the whole
life performance of buildings, strategic
asset and facilities management, partnering
and supply chain management, sustainability,
risk and value management, facilitated solutions,
legal support and tax depreciation. He has
been a committee member of several industry
bodies including JCT, CIC, DETR and RICS,
looking at best practice and contract matters.
He is a frequent contributor to the construction
press and is a regular columnist in Building
Magazine on construction legal matters.
