Alastair is Managing Director of Consulting of the Cyril Sweett Consulting Group and is an experienced consultant with particular skills in facilitation, risk management and value management. As a Chartered Engineer, Alastair gained his early experience in bridge construction prior to moving into Project Management. Building on this foundation he has broadened his consulting experience across both the public and private sectors focussing on delivering practical solutions that improve business effectiveness. Alastair has knowledge of a broad spectrum of risk management, value management, facilitation and business improvement tools. He is a qualified ‘Trainer in Value Management’ and sits on the Executive Committee of the UK Institute of Value Management.
