At Cyril Sweett, Corporate Social Responsibility
(CSR) is an umbrella term that covers our
activity with regard to our staff wellbeing,
progressing our involvement in our industry,
contributing to our society and local communities
and improving our impact on the environment.
CSR strategy
We believe that by having strong CSR credentials
will ultimately help us attract and retain
the best people, have a positive impact
on how our clients view us and assist in
the efficient development of our business.
Our CSR strategy aims to add value to our
business by improving staff morale, minimising
any risks to the environment, helping local
communities, whilst enhancing our commercial
operations and creating value for our clients.
Through acting responsibly it has ultimately
allowed us to grow as a business and create
shareholder value for our staff.
Our Chairman, Francis Ives and Deputy Chairman,
Derek Pitcher, direct the development of
the company’s CSR policies and programmes.
A team of people from all parts of our business
are responsible for driving our policies
forward and all efforts are co-ordinated
by a CSR Manager.
