Cyril Sweett aims to provide the best service
to clients. We respect the importance of
a client's own corporate social responsibility
policies and understand the wider context
in which a client operates. In the advice
we give to clients we also endeavour to
understand their commitment to environmental
issues, and work to encourage and assist
them to improve environmental performance.
With cost often cited as the main barrier
to achieving more sustainable buildings,
and as a leader in cost consultancy, we
are aware of our responsibility to understand
and contribute towards sustainability. Our
dedicated sustainability services team works
in close co-operation with cost and project
management teams to establish and demonstrate
the major advances in sustainability performance
achievable without compromising commerciality.
Cyril Sweett’s sustainability team
conducts extensive industry research in
this area in collaboration with many leading

The construction industry is renowned for
being male dominated and the industry is
working together to make it more appealing
to women. In 2006 we introduced childcare
vouchers to all staff in order to allow
parents the freedom to choose the most appropriate
care to meet their individual needs. One
of the advantages that we hope this benefit
will bring is our ability to retain female
members of staff after maternity leave.
We have hosted, both internally and externally
a number of seminars throughout the United
Kingdon and we publish a number of guides
throughout the year. In addition our staff
contribute to a vast number of articles
and publications.
