| Paul joined an established
practice of quantity surveyors in 1980, and
his experience of the construction industry
enabled him to achieve partner status where
he was involved in a range of commercial schemes
including civil engineering, offices (both
new and refurbishment) industrial and housing
projects. Public sector experience includes
term contracts, schools, housing, community
facilities and the Crown Court. It was during
this period that Paul managed a number of
term commissions for the PSA at the Special
Hospital at Rampton. Paul
joined Cyril Sweett project consultants
in 1988 to take over the responsibility
for the project management of the prestigious
£174m Chelsea & Westminster Hospital.
With a team of project managers Paul saw
this project through to its successful conclusion
and occupation in 1992. He has since been
responsible for the £44m redevelopment
project at St Richard's Hospital, Chichester,
the £6.5m relocation of St Mark's
to Northwick Park Hospital and the £24m
refurbishment of Barnet General Hospital.
He is currently working on the £65m
PFI Hospital at Bishop Auckland, and the
redevelopment of St Vincent’s Hospital
in Dublin.
