Describe a typical day for you at Cyril Sweett
"Since joining Cyril Sweett, I have had the opportunity to be involved in many new and interesting things. One of my favourite days was when I was asked to carry out a Fire Insurance Valuation in a shop in my home town, where I had been going to as a customer for many years! For me it is interesting to get the opportunity to go into parts of buildings that are inaccessible to the general public. Also with 17 offices and an international network, there are opportunities to travel to different parts of the country on business.

What do you like most about working here?
I like working at Cyril Sweett because there is a real family feel in the office environment. Trainees and graduates aren't afraid to go and ask directors for help. I chose to work here because I heard that Cyril Sweett had a good reputation and a long list of very well-known clients. Everyone in the company deals with clients in a professional manner and maintains a friendly relationship with everyone.

What exciting projects have you worked on?
I was asked to help out on a project called Yas Island which is based in Abu Dhabi. I had to measure a building which would contain a 'wall of death' inside, but instead of motorbikes going around it, it would be Formula One racing cars! I was thrilled to be a part of this as this is the first time anything like this has been developed anywhere in the world. With Cyril Sweett, there is always the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting and unique projects in the UK or abroad, which is why I think Cyril Sweett is the ideal company for trainees or graduates to join."
