WHAT TO EXPECT

We want our graduates to get the most out of their career at Cyril Sweett. From day one you will be allocated a line manager to report to, a buddy to help you settle in, and you will quickly be brought up to speed with the company's working practices through a comprehensive induction.

In your first few days your line manager will set you some initial objectives and you will meet your line manager regularly to discuss your current projects, projected workload and development objectives, providing the opportunity for two-way feedback. These meetings are supported by an annual appraisal to formally agree ongoing objectives and training and development requirements.

When you join you will be affiliated to one of our service areas: cost consultancy, project management, specialist services or management consultancy. You will work closely with your colleagues in that team and have the opportunity to develop your skills on live projects in a supportive environment.

As a business we strive to integrate all of the services we offer in order to bring maximum value to our clients. This means that from early on you will be assigned projects that require you to work with colleagues in other areas of the business. It will not be long before you are familiar with our comprehensive service range, enabling you to spot opportunities where we can further assist our existing clients.

As a company we are growing rapidly and we constantly review and develop the capacity of our business. Alongside project work, you will play an active role in this process, perhaps through devising new marketing materials, documenting and improving team processes or taking responsibility to ensure that your team is aware of relevant new legislation or guidance.
