of recognition for actively
supporting their staff in the
Reserve Forces.
Lieutenant
Louise Greenhalgh & Alastair
Bloore of Cyril Sweett accepted
the SABRE (Supporting Britain's
Reservists and Employers) award
presented this month by Major
General The Duke of Westminster
OBE and the Lord Mayor of London.
Cyril
Sweett offers support to staff
who are members of the Reservist
forces, including the Royal
Naval Reserve, the Royal Marines,
the Royal Auxiliary Air Force
and the Territorial Army. This
support includes the provision
of additional time off work
to attend compulsory training
camps and a flexible approach
to working hours, enabling regular
attendance of weekday training
commitments.
Alastair
Bloore, Deputy MD of Consulting
at Cyril Sweett said, “At

skills developed through serving
in the reserve forces are transferable
into the work place. People
are exposed to high levels of
responsibility in their training
which also develops a maturity

SABRE
is a Ministry of Defence (MOD)
marketing and communications
campaign, set up in October
2002 with the goal of gaining
and maintaining the support
of employers of Reservists.
This support applies to all
areas of the reserve forces
namely: the Royal Naval Reserve,
the Royal Marines, the Royal
Auxiliary Air Force and the
Territorial Army.
