| Leading
construction consultant Cyril
Sweett continues its strategic
business growth with the launch
of its new building surveying
team in the UK.
The
new team has been recruited
in London and Bristol, with
further appointments pending
in Bristol, Leeds and Glasgow.
The calibre of these new appointments
is synonymous with the invaluable
client base that will accompany
them in their move to Cyril
Sweett, merging with the firm’s
already impressive client portfolio.
The headcount of Cyril Sweett
Building Surveying is 15 throughout
England and Scotland.
Dean
Webster, Chief Executive of
Cyril Sweett, comments, “We
are delighted to welcome Gary
Fraughen and his team to Cyril
Sweett, and with their proven
track record they will be a
major asset to us and our clients.
Our new building surveying division
represents the next step in
our strategic development, and
demonstrates Cyril Sweett’s
commitment to providing a complete
range of consulting services
to the construction industry.
By introducing this complementary
skill to our portfolio it gives
us the ability to further develop
strategic partnerships with
our clients.”
The
team is headed by Gary Fraughen
who was recruited by Cyril Sweett
as a result of his impressive
achievements working within
the construction industry, and
successfully setting up a similar
team whilst working at Currie
& Brown. Recognised as an
authority on building surveying
matters, Gary now regularly
lectures for the RICS, and sits
on university academic panels
for RICS accredited courses.
His career includes nearly ten
years on site and as many years
as a Chartered Building Surveyor,
most of it spent with Richard
Ellis in the UK and other parts
of Europe.

is a growth area, partly due
to the rise in public sector
work where Cyril Sweett is a
leader in the market. Our team,
however, has significant experience
in other areas, in particular
the commercial arena, and bring
further added value to the present
client base.”
The
new specialist team already
has plans to increase in number
