| Leading
global construction consultancy
Cyril Sweett has played a key
role in helping Aspire Defence
reach the award of the Ministry
of Defence’s £8
billion 35-year PFI contract
to upgrade accommodation and
provide a range of services
for the British Army garrisons
at Aldershot and Salisbury Plain.
Project
Allenby/Connaught aims to improve
the living and working environment
of personnel through the redevelopment
of the British Army’s
garrisons in the region. With
a lack of local building resources
in the Salisbury Plain area
there is a major requirement
for off-site construction for
the single-living accommodation
facilities at the garrisons.
Overseeing
Cyril Sweett’s involvement
in the project, Director of
Cost Consultancy Jeremy Roden
states, “Cyril Sweett
is proud to be involved in Project
Allenby/Connaught. Working collaboratively
within an integrated team in
Aspire’s offices we have
delivered real value through
innovative cost-effective construction
solutions to all aspects of
the PFI project.”
Aspire
Defence Ltd. is a special purpose
company specifically set up
to deliver Project Allenby/Connaught
for the Ministry of Defence.
Cyril Sweett provides ‘Cost
Planning and Cost Management’,

team to the project’s
consortium.
Dean
Webster, Chief Executive of
Cyril Sweett adds, “Project
Allenby/Connaught’ is
an excellent example of how
our firm seamlessly delivers
multi-discipline consultancy
services to the construction
and similarly related industries.
Through our depth of specialist
