Sweett is predicting a year
of geographic and divisional
expansion in 2006, following
a number of business successes
in 2005.
Turnover at Cyril Sweett increased
by 18.5 % to £36.4million
(2004: £30.7million) during
the course of 2005, whilst net
debt has been reduced across
the year by 29 per cent –
Leaving the company poised to
take a lead in its sector in
the UK in 2006.

world class service in partnership
with our clients. In the UK,
we successfully completed a
number of projects and reinforced
our reputation with some significant
project wins not to mention
our office expansions in Glasgow,
Edinburgh and Cambridge”.
Cyril Sweett continued to strengthen
its UK framework portfolio in
2005 and the consultancy now
has 49 formal framework agreements
in place in the UK. These frameworks
are expected to generate revenues
of £6million in the next
financial year to 31 March 2006.

Key projects delivered in 2005
include the Waverleygate mixed-use
development in Edinburgh, Knockenbracken
Health Trust building in Belfast
and Chapelfield shopping centre
in Norwich to name a few. New
appointments include Piccadilly
Plaza in Manchester, the Scottish
Executive PTMT consulting on
rail infrastructure in Scotland
and the Environmental Agency
delivering accommodation strategy
through Cyril Sweett’s
‘Whole Life Performance
Team’.
