Cyril Sweett, the international construction consultancy today announced that it has been appointed by Strategic Hotels & Resorts, Inc, to provide an integrated service comprising project management, cost consultancy and planning supervision services to the Marriott Grosvenor Square Hotel in Mayfair in London.

In conjunction with United Designers, Cyril Sweett has been appointed to refurbish the public areas of the hotel, guest bedrooms and executive apartments in order to create a more modern, contemporary feel for the hotel.

The hotel is a 5 star hotel situated in the West End of London comprising 236 guest rooms on six floors, including 16 suites. Additional facilities include 10,000ft2 of meeting space, one of the largest column-free ballrooms in London, the Gordon Ramsey operated Maze restaurant, the Cobalt restaurant and lounge and a fully equipped fitness centre.
