Cyril Sweett, the leading international property and construction consultancy, is celebrating growing success in Scotland with two new offices, in Edinburgh and in Glasgow.

Both the Glasgow and Edinburgh offices have relocated this year to larger premises to accommodate the rapidly increasing numbers of employees and new business in the region. Growth has come from new business activities such as Scottish Executive and Ivanhoe Cambridge as well as long-term clients Capital Shopping Centres, Hammerson and Royal Bank of Scotland.

Regional operations director Alan Manuel comments: “Our expansion has given us capacity to further recruit and grow our team and services we provide in Scotland. With so much current activity in the region, we look forward to continuing to provide first class cost consultancy and project management services to our clients and other businesses in the region. Both our Scottish offices are modern, friendly and open plan which has helped greatly with our communication within and between project teams. We now have 78 employees in Scotland and our new space enables us to accommodate our plans for growing to over 100 employees in the next two years. Both offices are conveniently located with good access to public transport and, of course, to bars and restaurants which are ideal for entertainment opportunities for clients and staff get-togethers.”

The 10-year deals with 5,760 ft2 in Glasgow at 180 St Vincent Street and 6,135 ft2 at Edinburgh’s Apex 3 at 95 Haymarket Terrace enables Cyril Sweett to further grow and expand their offer while maintaining their leading position in cost consultancy and project management consultancy in the Scottish market.
