Cyril Sweett Group plc, the leading international property and construction consultancy, is pleased to announce two senior appointments.
Nick van Dorp has been appointed Group HR Director. Nick joined Healey & Baker in 1989 as Human Resources Partner and became European Human Resources Director in 1999 after the merger of Cushman & Wakefield and Healey & Baker in 1998. In his 18 years experience with the Group, Nick led a European people and expansion strategy implementing a headcount growth from 450 to 2000 across EMEA. Nick has a total of 25 years human resources experience and brings particular expertise in employer branding, talent management, employee engagement, mergers and acquisitions, training and development and international human resources.
Chris Goscomb has been appointed to the new role of Group Treasurer, whose role includes overall responsibility for the Group's financial and management reporting functions with specific responsibility for funding issues, cash, currency and interest rate management and banking relationships. Chris also joins the statutory boards of the principal Group subsidiary companies, Cyril Sweett Limited and Cyril Sweett International (Holdings) Limited. Chris joined the Group as interim UK Finance Director in May 2007 in order to strengthen Cyril Sweett's financial team during the run-up to flotation. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1976 and has 27 years' experience in the construction industry, having been Group Finance Director of both Biwater plc and EMCOR Drake & Scull Group plc.
