Cyril Sweett was founded as a quantity surveying partnership in London in 1928 and during the 1980's the business grew significantly to include a full range of construction and property related consultancy services including project management.
Cyril Sweett was the first construction consultancy to float the business in 2007 on the Aim market of the London Stock Exchange in order to raise funds to support its acquisition strategy, invest in its people and infrastructures, and enable international expansion. Even though Cyril Sweett is a public company, the majority of the business is owned by its staff, most of whom are shareholders.
